— Molecular biology : Cloning techniques currently used within the consortium and in-house improvements are detailed (e.g. Gateway and LIC).
— Protein production : Automated screening of the best E.Coli culture conditions (up to 96 proteins/week) ; also yeast, insect and mammalian systems available.
— Crystal production : Automated screening of the crystallization parameters (micro- and nano-drops).
