VIZIER Molecular Virology Course 2007

The course will consist of a combination of practical work and theory (work groups and seminars). The target groups for the course are PhD students and young post-docs from VIZIER partner labs. Some basic background in molecular biology (DNA-RNA-protein; replication-transcription-translation...) will be required.

Leiden University Medical Center

The course will take place from Sunday March 4 (arrival) until Saturday March 17 (departure) 2007. We aim to use part of the evenings and the weekend to “squeeze” the program into these 12 days.

There is a maximum of 16 participants and currently 15 (preliminary) registrations have already been received. Approximately half of the registration and accommodation costs will be covered from the central VIZIER training and exchange fund, the other half should be covered by individual partners from their own VIZIER budgets.
