IRD Gabon and IRD Thaïland have joined VIZIER

The IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement) has joined the VIZIER consortium during the spring 2006.

(Monday 13th November 2006)

Two major IRD labs now participate in the common effort: One is located in Gabon, with Eric Leroy at its head, the other is located in Thaïland and run by Jean-Paul Gonzales. These two platforms are specialized in virus handling and thus bring to the consortium their high security labs (P4) strategically located at the center of Africa and Asia respectively.
