From the train station “Gare St Charles”. The TGV train station Marseille St Charles is located about 2.5 km from the Pharo:
- Taxi (recommended) Duration: about 5 min. Rate (about) € 10.
- Subway/underground: line n°1 “La Timone” direction, and 2nd stop at “Vieux Port”. Then leave the subway/underground and take the bus n°83 or n°81 and stop at “Pharo”.
- Walk (about 30min): Down from the Station’s stairs to the “Cannebière” (Historical Boulevard), then turn right on the Cannebière to the old-harbour (“vieux-port”), when on the harbour, go straight to the sea following the left side of the harbour
By Car: From the Highways A55 or A7, exit “Vieux-Port”, then follow direction “Pharo / Les plages”. Parking in the streets is not easy in this area. One car park is located in front of the Pharo (entrance in front of “New Hotel****”).
